The goal of Bediako’s 12-pillar Economic Freedom agenda is to establish Ghana as a global powerhouse.
Called the “12 Pillars for Economic Freedom”, it is billed as a plan that should have 12 broad thematic components – from industrialisation, infrastructure, energy to education and good governance – with implementation being delivered by harnessing Nigeria’s abundant natural and human heritage to be powered by strong qualitative leadership anchored on political willpower to carry out decisive actions in national interest.

Major policies of the plan include “16 Regional Industrial Revolution”, which would transform all 16 regions in to high value added manufacturing hub, and create more than 800K quality employment per year; infrastructure investment focus on rail networks that connect each region with seamless local network for direct consumer access; development new energy source within QME block shifting country from partial renewable base to completely self-sufficient. • Key Features-
The sole commentator Dr Bediako also noted other ideas including the creation of a national sovereign fund to bankroll investments in key projects nation-wide, ‘industrication’, which is part of an educational reform by rationalising education with industry as well social development mission; cultivate generation entrepreneurs along with $50 billion needed for industrialisation mostly via citizenship-led investment strategy that intend to incentivise Africans and non-Africans alike regarding investing their money into the country.
The policy also encompasses one to transform the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) into an insurance bank, through which contributors can with government support repicrement their after-five-year contribution both packages for immediate issues relating health, education or even housing.

And his government will also enforce civil liberties, maintain freedom of the press and ensure that meritocracy reigns over “whom you know.”
Bold initiatives
