Exams at KNUST were cancelled following the discovery of foreign material by a female student.
Following the discovery of foreign material on one student, some KNUST students had their exams annulled. An X post claimed that the foreign content included a similar questions the examiner had prepared for his class. When the message was shared on social media, people’s opinions varied. Many accused the examiner’s teaching assistant of leaking the questions. Exams for certain KNUST students were cancelled when a colleague was discovered to have brought in foreign material. @Voice of KNUST made the announcement in an X post.
The Biological Science 4 students will therefore need to rewrite their Plant Pathology assignment because the female student was found using the precise exam questions that their examiner had set.
Although it is unknown how the student obtained the questions, several in the comment section expressed suspicions that she had obtained them through leaks from the examiner’s teaching assistant.
